Interestingly enough, I have had multiple people ask me my opinion on the "octuplet controvery" coming out of California. I guess since I have been through all of this, people want to know my "expert" (and i use the term very loosely) opinion. hmmm.... well, i personally blame the shenanigans on the MD. it is not ethical, and statistically not better, to implant more than three eggs. so to implant six eggs is pure craziness. now, the fact that they implanted six and two split to give a grand total of eight implanted eggs...wow. it makes me wonder if it is all a cover up and she didn't do IVF. mabye she was just on follistim or clomid (or some similar drug)to produce more eggs and she got pregnant that way. with that process, you cannot control the outcome of how many eggs are fertilized. i think it is all very interesting, and i think the press should leave the woman alone (i do think child services should take a long look there, though) . i think the doctor, however, should be looked at very closely by the medical board in california. alright...enough of that. next topic...
Mississippi State Basketball. That is one of our favorite things about living in Starkvegas. We have seen the bulldogs play in some amazing games the last couple of weeks. Some we won, some we lost. But they were all GREAT games to watch. The Marconi's have been wonderful to us and lent us tickets for most of the games...so thanks so much!!! BJ even sent Jessica a text the other day that said "I think I am becoming an MSU basketball fan" -- don't worry, she saved the text :) Hopefully, they can pull out a few more wins, kick butt in the SEC tourny, and then make a great run in the NCAA tournamet.
Next, Kappa Delta Shamrock Week. Oh yes all you Kappa Delta ladies out there (and of course anyone else who would like to donate), it's that time of year again. The girls are putting on several functions during the week -- who can forget KD late night pancakes. But most importantly, on Saturday and Sunday they are doing volunteer work all over Starkville. Each girl has to raise $150 in sponsor money. 80% of the money will stay around Starkville to help local charities, and the other 20% goes to KD's national philanthropy. If anyone would like to donate, you can send a check addressed to Jessica Alexander to my house. Email me, and I will give you the address. Every $5 counts, so thanks in advance for your help! Those are all my thoughts for now....have a great week :)

it is very strange that BJ is only a year old than me. I often think he's like 35. I guess its all that maturity oozing out.
i feel the same way as LMA. How is it that The Coug is just one year my senior?
