Miss Alex has had such a big summer! She has really enjoyed playing outside the last few weeks (when it hasn't been 100 degrees!). We are blessed on our small street to all have children the same ages. Here she is playing with Thomas. He is five weeks older than Alex. They have so much fun together! They will just start blabbering back and forth having a grand conversation. I love this picture... they just kept chasing each other.
They love to ride in Thomas's wagon! This isn't the best picture, normally they are smiling and clapping while riding :)
On the day (or schoolday) before the 4th of July, all the church preschools downtown get together for a parade. Alex was pretty excited as you can tell. She was all decked out in her red, white, and blue dress.
Apparently the parade itself was not as exciting to her as getting all dressed up for the parade :)
Finally, this is my favorite picture! This is the cozy coup that Thomas received for his birthday on Friday. Thomas lives between Alex and Ty. He had literally had the gift for one day, and look who took it over. At least sweet thomas is a good sharer! Here is the cute story to go with the picture...
Ty was playing in the car when, of course, Alex decided she wanted to get in. She opened the door and climbed right on in. Ty never tried to push her out or get upset. Next thing Lauren and I know is Ty is reaching behind Alex's back and closing the door so they were all nice and cozy in the coup. Geez... Adam is teaching him the moves early!

she is such a little cutie, jennifer! we're hoping that we get to see her during one of our future trips to g'ville!! i understand her personality well, as myrt seems to want to command the group that she is around, as well! ha, ha!!
