Well, Alex and I survived the stomach virus scare without being affected...yay!!! We headed back to Starkville on Wednesday afternoon. She went to see the doctor on Friday for her 8-week checkup. Wow, time is flying by! Everything looked good (including her ears - yay). She weighed in at 11lbs 8oz (75%) and her length was 23 and 1/4 (75%). Saturday, BJ went to Oxford for the Ole Miss game, and Alex and I hung out in Starkville. We went on campus after the game so that Alex (and I) could meet her new cousin, Hutch. He is just adorable and looked to be having a great time at his first MSU football game. Since it was Alex's third game, she slept thru the whole meeting. Oh well! On Sunday, we met my mom in Jackson so my Mamaw and Papaw could meet Alex. We all had a wonderful time! Alex is really smiling now and "talking" alot. You can see in one of the pictures that she was really talking to Papaw. Very cute!! OH -- if my cheeks look rosier than normal, it is because I was attacked by my mother AND grandmother while I was burping Alex. My hands were busy and I couldn't defend myself from the blush brush they were weilding ;)
